Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering cooler hoses (1, 2) in the vehicle.
  2. Install the power steering cooler hoses to the power steering cooler (3) with the hose clamps.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the power steering cooler hose to frame retaining bolt and tighten to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  4. Install the power steering cooler hoses to the power steering hoses with the hose clamps.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
  8. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
