Removal Procedure

Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
Remove the intake manifold insulator.
Remove the wiper motor and wiper transmission module. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .

Remove the fuel pipe shield to intake manifold bolts (1).
Remove the fuel pipe shield to cylinder bolt (1).
Carefully remove the fuel pipe shield from the vehicle. Take care not to damage the insulation behind the shield.
