Preliminary Procedures

If replacing rear coils, remove the rear intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear .
If replacing front coils, remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .

Ignition Coil Bolt

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
12 N.m (106 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disconnect the ignition cable.
