Installation Procedure

- Install the support rod (2) to the vehicle.CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the bolt (1) in order to retain the hood support rod to the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
- Remove the alternate support.
- Close the hood.
