Removal Procedure

Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (2).

NOTE: Do not rotate or pry on the MAP sensor when removing. Damage to the MAP sensor or the intake manifold may result.

Using a slight rocking motion, while pulling straight up, remove the MAP sensor.

Inspect the MAP sensor seal for damage, replace the seal, if necessary.
