Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the strut assembly. Refer to Strut Assembly Removal and Installation .
1	Front Suspension Strut Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: When disassembling the front strut assembly, note the orientation of all the components to ensure that they are installed in the proper position. Procedure Using the CH 48845 compressor , compress the front strut assembly. Tighten 70 N.m (52 lb ft) Special Tools CH 48845 Spring Compressor For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
