Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the strut assembly. Refer to Strut Assembly Removal and Installation .
1	Front Suspension Strut Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Using the CH 48845 compressor , compress the front strut assembly. NOTE: When disassembling the front strut assembly, note the orientation of all the components to ensure that they are installed in the proper position. Tighten 70 (52 lb ft) Special Tools CH 48845 Spring Compressor For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
