Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn

The Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn procedure must be completed when the following components are replaced:

• Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module
• Steering Column Tilt Motor
• Steering Column Telescope Motor

The Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn procedure can be completed without a scan tool using the following steps:

1. Ignition ON, engine OFF.
2. Using the steering column tilt and telescope switch, actuate the column to each mechanical hard stop in each direction listed below.
   NOTE: To perform the learn procedure, the directional order does not require a specific sequence. Reaching the mechanical hard stop of each direction is the only requirement.
   • Tilt column full up
   • Tilt column full down
   • Telescope column full forward
   • Telescope column full rearward
3. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down.
