Preliminary Procedures Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief . Remove the fuel pump insulator. Refer to Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement . Remove the fuel feed intermediate pipe position 2. Refer to Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement - Position 2 .
1	Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Fitting (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
2	Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Position 1 Procedure DISCARD the old fuel feed pipe and install a NEW fuel feed pipe. Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe and fuel rail fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly. Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
