Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement
WARNING: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

WARNING: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
Disconnect the fuel sender assembly electrical connector.
Use the CH 45722 wrench by turning counter clockwise and remove the lock ring (1).

Disconnect the fuel sender assembly transfer hose (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

Disconnect the remote pick up (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Remove the fuel sender assembly (1) and the O-ring (2).
