1	Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Retainers WARNING: Approved safety glasses and gloves should be worn when performing this procedure to reduce the chance of personal injury. Procedure Place masking tape over the mirror glass. Carefully push the outside rearview mirror glass upward and into the right corner of the mirror housing, allowing access to the bottom edge. Insert a suitable tool, between the lower housing and the mirror glass turn it clockwise releasing the mirror retainers from the mirror inner actuator motor. Grasp the bottom edge of the mirror glass firmly, lift it up and pull rearward until the mirror glass retainers release the actuator motor ring. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror glass electrical connectors.
2	Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Procedure Place the mirror glass in line with the lower inner actuator retainers. Place one hand on the back of the mirror housing, using the flat palm of the other hand press inward locking the mirror glass retainers to the inner actuator ring. Remove the masking tape from the mirror glass. NOTE: Inspect the outside rearview mirror for proper operation.
