Installation Procedure
- Install Front Lower Control Arm (2)
- Start all front lower control arm fasteners by hand before tightening to specification to aid in installation.
- Use a suitable support to bring the front lower control arm and front suspension to the proper trim height before tightening any fasteners.
- Install the NEW front lower control arm front bolt (5) and OLD nut (4) and tighten the bolt.
Tighten
- Tighten the bolt a first pass to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
- Tighten the bolt a final pass an additional (75-90 degrees).
- Install the NEW steering knuckle bolt (1) and OLD nut (3) and tighten the nut.
Tighten
- Tighten the bolt a first pass to 115 N.m (85 lb ft).
- Tighten the bolt a final pass an additional (120-135 degrees).
- Install the NEW front lower control arm rear bolts (2) and OLD nuts (1) and tighten the bolts.
Tighten
- Tighten the bolt a first pass to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
- Tighten the bolt a final pass an additional (75-90 degrees).
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
