Preliminary Procedures Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame transmission protector, if equipped. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement . Remove the push-in retainers from the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement .
1	Front Compartment Insulator Bolt (Qty: 8) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Front Compartment Insulator Procedure Slide the front edge of the front splash shield from under the front fascia.

Tighten
