Installation Procedure

  1. Battery Distribution Fuse Block (2)» Install

  2. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Retaining Tab (1)» Engage
  3. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  4. Retainer (3)» Engage
  5. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  6. Electrical Connector (5)» Connect [3x]

  7. Retainer (6)» Engage [2x]
  8. Body Harness Terminal (4)» Install
  9. Body Harness Ground Fastener (2)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)» Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
  11. Battery Positive Post Cover (3)» Install
  12. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (2)» Install

  13. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retaining Tab (1)» Engage
  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  15. Spare Tire (2)» Install

  16. Spare Tire Stowage Retainer (1)» Hand tighten
  17. Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim» Install - Rear Compartment Front Trim Replacement (Without HP9)
