Preliminary Procedures Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement Disconnect the electrical connector.
1	Windshield Wiper Transmission Bolt [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 8 N.m (71 lb in)
2	Windshield Wiper Transmission Procedure Remove the windshield wiper transmission by sliding it towards the driver side of the vehicle. Transfer components as necessary. Carefully install the alignment grommet on the back of the wiper module into the brace. If the transmission is not installed correctly, the wiper arms may rub and scrape on the windshield acting like the wiper linkage is bent. Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment

Tighten
8 N.m (71 lb in)

Windshield Wiper Transmission

Procedure

Remove the windshield wiper transmission by sliding it towards the driver side of the vehicle.
Transfer components as necessary.
Carefully install the alignment grommet on the back of the wiper module into the brace. If the transmission is not installed correctly, the wiper arms may rub and scrape on the windshield acting like the wiper linkage is bent.
