Installation Procedure

  1. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  2. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  3. Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)» Install

  4. Retainer (1)» Engage [5x]

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  8. Secure the clips. (2)
  9. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tube bracket fastener. (3)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)» Install

  11. Retainer (1)» Engage [5x]

  12. Lower the vehicle.
  13. Feed the battery positive cable through rear compartment opening.

  14. Rubber Grommet (2)» Install
  15. Retainer (1)» Engage [4x]
  16. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  17. Retainer (3)» Engage
  18. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  19. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (2)» Install

  20. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retaining Tab (1)» Engage
  21. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  22. Spare Tire (2)» Install

  23. Spare Tire Stowage Retainer (1)» Hand tighten
