Installation Procedure

  1. Generator (5)» Install

  2. Generator Mounting Bolt (1)» Install and tighten [2x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  3. Generator Mounting Stud (4)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Generator Mounting Nut (2)» Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  5. Wiring Harness Retainer (3)» Engage
  6. Electrical Connector (1)» Connect

  7. Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2)» Install

  8. Generator Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  10. Fan and Generator Belt (1)» Install - Fan and Generator Belt Replacement

  11. Heater Coolant Pump (1)» Install - Heater Coolant Pump Replacement (LGW)

  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
