Sunroof Window Motor Replacement

Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only perform the steps in the headliner replacement procedure that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) and Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without Sunroof) .
1	Sunroof Actuator Motor Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof window motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables. Install the sunroof window motor to the frame with a turning motion. Push upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables. Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in)
2	Sunroof Window Motor Procedure Verify the sunroof window motor operation. After installing the sunroof window motor, refer to Sunroof Window Motor Initialization .

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof window motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables.
Install the sunroof window motor to the frame with a turning motion. Push upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables.

Tighten
4 N.m (35 lb in)

Procedure

Verify the sunroof window motor operation.
After installing the sunroof window motor, refer to Sunroof Window Motor Initialization .
