Preliminary Procedures Place a drain pan under the transmission fluid cooler pipe. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection . Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler pipe from the auxiliary oil cooler.
1	Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Connector CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Inspect the transmission fluid level. Inspect for transmission fluid leaks. NOTE: The correct thread engagement is critical, hand start the fitting. Cross-threaded fittings can achieve proper tightness and still leak. Tighten 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
