Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . If equipped with AWD, remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame transmission protector. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement . Disconnect the vent hose, if applicable.
1	Front Wheelhouse Liner Fastener (Qty 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Front Compartment Splash Shield Retainer (Qty 3) Tighten 3 N.m (27 lb in)
