Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install a NEW drain plug (1) and seal and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
  2. Fill the transfer case to the bottom of the fill plug hole with the recommended fluid.

  3. Install a NEW fill plug (1) and seal and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
