Removal Procedure
- Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling
Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray (2) - Remove - Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray Replacement (With HP9)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2) - Remove
- Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1) - Disengage [2x]
- Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove
- Retainer (3) - Disengage
- Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
Retainer (1) - Disengage [5x]
- Rubber Grommet (3) - Disengage
- Retainer Clip (2) - Disengage
- Feed the battery positive cable (4) through rear compartment opening.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Fuel Tank (1) - Remove - Fuel Tank Replacement (HP9)
Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield - Left Side (3) - Remove - Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Left Side, LTG)
Retainer (1) - Disengage [6x]
Release the clips with a suitable tool. (1) [4x]
- Remove the auxiliary A/C evaporator tube bracket fastener. (3)
- Retainer (2) - Disengage [3x]
Release the clips with a suitable tool. (1) [3x]
- Retainer (2) - Disengage [5x]
- Lower the vehicle.
Retainer (1) - Disengage [9x]
Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
