Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .
2. Remove the front door water deflector.

Procedure

1. Place the window in the full up position.
2. Use masking tape to tape the window to the upper door frame.
3. Disconnect the window from the window regulator.
4. Reposition the front side door window regulator rear rail for access to the rear channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
5. Pull the lower section of the window weatherstrip out of the rear lower channel.
6. Unclip the door wiring harness from the channel.
7. Pull the front side door window rear channel downward releasing it from the stationary window.

Procedure

1. When installing the front side door window rear channel ensure that it is in line with the stationary window so that the window will roll properly.
2. After install the front side door window rear channel, start at the top of the channel working downward.
