Preliminary Procedure  Remove the rear compartment lid carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Access Cover Procedure  Depress the retainers and slide the access cover to the right to access the cable end.
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Procedure  Disconnect the rear compartment lid inside latch handle cable from the rear compartment lid latch.
3	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Retainer (Qty: 3)
