Installation Procedure

    Generator (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Intake manifold removed for graphic clarity.

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

  3. Generator Battery Jumper Cable (3) - Install
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @ Generator - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

    Generator (3) - Install

  6. Generator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  7. Generator Bolt (1) - Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  8. Accessory Drive Primary Belt - Install - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement
  9. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
  10. Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  11. Intake Manifold Cover - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
  12. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
