Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Access Cover Procedure Depress the retainers and slide the access cover to the right to access the cable end.
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Procedure Disconnect the rear compartment lid inside latch handle cable from the rear compartment lid latch. Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch handle cable from the rear compartment lid.
