Removal Procedure

  1. Place the window in the full up position.
  2. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear side door armrest plate bolts and plate from the inner door panel.
  4. Remove the water deflector.
  5. Position the rear side door window to access and remove the door latch and handle bracket.
  6. Remove the rear side door window rear channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
  7. Remove the rear side door locking rod. Refer to Rear Side Door Locking Rod Knob Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the luminous reflecting light, if equipped.
  9. Disconnect the rear side door latch electrical connector.
  10. Remove the rear side door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  11. Remove the rear side door outside handle bracket screw. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement .
  12. Remove the four bolts (1) from the rear side door latch.

  13. Remove the outside handle bracket (1) and the rear side door latch (2) assembly from the vehicle.
