Installation Procedure
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe (4) to the vehicle.
- Install two new RH side cradle bolts and tighten to specification. Refer to Rear Suspension Cradle Replacement .
- Install the fuel tank vent hose (2) to the fuel tank filler pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe bolt (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
- Install NEW tie straps (3) that attach the evaporative emission canister purge pipe and fuel tank vent hose to the fuel tank filler pipe.
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe housing. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement .
- Install the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe (3) to the fuel tank.
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe clamp (2).
- Install the fuel tank filler pipe ground bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Remove the drain pan.
- Lower the vehicle.
