Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a light coat of wheel speed sensor anti-corrosion grease to the wheel speed sensor and mounting pad on the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

    Wheel Speed Sensor(1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt(1) - Install and tighten13 N.m (115 lb in)

  4. Install the front wheel hub and bearing assembly to the steering knuckle while carefully feeding the wheel speed sensor harness through the brake shield.
  5. Install the front wheel hub and bearing bolts. - Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (Light Duty)Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (Heavy Duty)

    Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip(1)@Steering Knuckle - Secure

  9. Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector - Connect
  10. Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JD9, JB1)Front Brake Rotor Replacement (J95) - Install
  11. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel)
  12. Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the repair:Diagnostic Repair Verification
