Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering wheel. (1)

  2. Prepare the steering wheel bolt (1) for installation.

    1. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. (1)
    2. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the component. (1) Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
    3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution .

  3. Steering Wheel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
  4. Steering Wheel Airbag - Install - Steering Wheel Airbag Replacement
