Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Accessory Drive Primary Belt - Remove - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement
  3. Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

  4. Remove the air conditioning compressor hose bracket bolt (1) and reposition the air conditioning compressor hose. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement

  5. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Generator - Remove

  6. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
  7. Drive Belt Tensioner (2) - Reposition - Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

  8. Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  9. Reposition the generator (2) to access the electrical connector.
  10. Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  11. Generator (2) - Remove
