Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (LFX)

Preliminary Procedure 
Partially drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. If equipped, reposition the engine coolant temperature sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten 
20 N.m (15 lb ft)
