Removal Procedure
WARNING:
CAUTION:
Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.
- Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
- Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket - Remove - Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Replacement (LGX)Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Replacement (LTA-Driver Side)Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Replacement (LTA-Passenger Side)
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Chassis Front Wiring Harness Clip Nut (1) - Remove
- Chassis Front Wiring Harness (2) - Reposition away
- Thoroughly clean the electronic brake control module (EBCM) to brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) area of any accumulated dirt and debris.
- Disconnect the EBCM electrical connector.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the BPMV inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Electronic Brake Control Module (1) - Remove
