Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)@Starter Solenoid - Remove
Generator Battery Control Wiring Harness (2) - Remove
Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect

Starter Heat Shield (3) - Remove - Starter Shield Replacement

Starter Mounting Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Starter (2) - Remove
