Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (1) - Remove - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (LGX) , and Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (LSY)

  3. Reposition the engine control module bracket. Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement

    Retainer (1) - Disengage

    Battery Hold Down Strap Bolt (1) - Remove

  6. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove

    Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) - Remove

  8. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove
  9. Battery (3) - Remove
