Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
Front Wheel Opening Molding Retainer (1) - Disengage [4x]
Front Wheel Opening Molding Retainer (2) - Disengage [11x]
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Position the charge port door to the full open position.
Using a trim type tool, release the retainers on the charge port door (1) from the housing.

Using a trim type tool, release the retainers on the top of the charge port housing (1) from the fender.

Using a trim type tool, release the retainers on the lower side of the charge port housing (1) from the fender.

Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

NOTE:

Transfer charge port door as needed.
