Installation Procedure

    Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.

  2. Fuel Tank (1) - Install

    Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]

    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Remove the adjustable jack from under the fuel tank.
  6. Connect the hose and wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  8. Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Hose (1) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Connect the 2 evaporative emission canister purge hose (1) quick connect fittings. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (4) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  11. Fuel Tank Filler Hose (3) - Install
  12. Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (2) - Tighten to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
  13. Wiring Harness (1) - Connect
  14. Driveline Torque Tube - Install - Driveline Torque Tube Replacement
  15. Refill the fuel tank.
  16. Inspect for fuel leaks.
