CORRECTION
Reprogram the K107/K107A Drive Motor Control Module and the K107B Drive Motor Control Module 2 as applicable if not already directed to do so by another publication.
These modules will program in sequence using SPS if updates are required for both modules.
If one of the conditions above persists after programming the applicable K107(s) to the latest software, follow SI Diagnostic procedures for the DTC or symptom and contact GM Technical Assistance (TAC) if further assistance is required.
Condition 1
X0E Equipped vehicles only.
Customers may experience a brief vehicle sag or sensation similar to a conventional transmission shifting on acceleration. The sensation can occur at various speeds but ONLY occurs during acceleration not braking or coasting.
Condition 2
X0B, X0C, X0D, and X0E equipped vehicles.
Customers may experience a MIL or "service vehicle soon" telltale when starting the vehicle. Diagnostics will indicate the vehicle is setting a P296A DTC in the K107 or the K107B due to the diagnostic running too soon.
Condition 3
X0B, X0C, X0D, and X0E equipped vehicles
Customers may find that their vehicle fails to remote start using either their FOB or On-Star due to a timing concern between the K107/K107B and the K9 BCM.
Condition 4
X0B, X0C, X0D, and X0E equipped vehicles.
Customers may experience a MIL or "service vehicle soon" telltale when starting the vehicle. Diagnostics will indicate the vehicle is setting a B2BBC DTC in the K107 and the electronic parking brake may be applied automatically while shifting to park.
Condition 5
X0B, X0C, X0D, and X0E equipped vehicles.
Customers may find that one pedal driving turns off on its own after a remote vehicle start. There will be no warning to the operator that this has occurred and they will need to manually re-enable OPD after starting the vehicle.
