Automatic Choke

This adjustment must be made with carburetor installed on engine  . Make certain that choke valve and rod move freely, disconnect rod at choke lever. Hold choke valve closed and push rod down against its stop on thermostat bracket. At this point, top of rod should be 1/2-1 rod diameter below top of hole in lever. Adjust as necessary by bending rod at offset bend.
