Engine Removal
- Disconnect battery cables, drain crankcase and cooling system. Disconnect carburetor linkage, all necessary water and fuel hoses, vacuum lines, and electrical leads. Also disconnect exhaust pipe at manifold flange. Remove radiator.
- Disconnect drive shaft, clutch slave cylinder and speedometer cable. Remove gearshift lever assembly and exhaust pipe bracket. Attach suitable hoist and take up weight of engine. Remove front and rear engine mounts. Carefully pull engine forward adjusting hoist to clear stationary components.
