Control Pressure Check: Notes

1. Connect tachometer to engine and 0-300 psi pressure gauge at line pressure take-off point. See Fig 1 . With transmission fluid at correct level and normal operating temperature, perform test as follows:
2. With vehicle stationary and service brakes set, test with vacuum gauge attached in line with modulator and tachometer hooked to engine. Check oil pressures with those found in CONTROL PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS  .
