Electrical Component Locator: Switches
SWITCHES LOCATION

| A/C Cut-Out Switch | On accelerator pedal bracket. See Figure. |
| A/C Pressure Cycling Switch | At left side of firewall, on accumulator. |
| A/C Temperature Cut-Out Switch | At left front side of engine near alternator. See Figure & 16. |
| Back-Up Light Switch | On lower part of steering column. |
| Brake Booster Low Vac. Switch | On power brake booster. See Figure. |
| Brake Pressure Switch | At rear base of left front wheel well. |
| Brake/Stop Light Switch | At top of brake pedal support. |
| Clutch Start Switch | At top of clutch pedal. |
| Cold Inhibit Switch (Diesel) | Below center of right valve cover. |
| Coolant Temp. Switch | At top front side of engine, behind water pump (V6 & Diesel); at left side of engine, near exhaust manifold (V8). |
| Engine Temp. Switch (Diesel) | Behind water pump. See Figure & 18. |
| Gear Selector Switch | Attached to base of steering column. |
| Oil Pressure Switch | Behind water pump (V8 Diesel); behind lower right exhaust manifold (V6); on top of engine, above left valve cover (V8). See Figure & 11. |
| Parking Brake Switch | Under left side of dash panel, on parking brake pedal support. See Figure. |
| Torque Converter Clutch Switch | On brake pedal support. |
| Vacuum Reg. Valve Switch (Diesel) | Forward of intake manifold crossover. |
