Trouble Shooting Hints
- If the Tap-Up and the Tap-Down functions are the only faults in the system, replace the Instrument Panel.
- Check vacuum hoses for leaks, kinks, or restrictions before starting electrical trouble shooting.
- Check for minimal slack in Cruise Control Servo throttle linkage.
- Visually check the Cruise Control wire and ground connectors.
- Check Cruise Fuse, LCD Fuse and Clster Fuse with a Fuse tester.
