Pressure Regulator
The pressure regulator is a diaphragm-operated relief valve with injector pressure on one side and air cleaner pressure on the other. The regulator maintains constant fuel pressure at injectors at all times, by controlling flow in the return line.
If regulator pressure is below 9 psi (.63 kg/cm2 ), poor performance could result. If pressure is too high, excessive fuel odor may result. The regulator is serviced as part of the throttle body cover.
