Throttle Position Switch
- Connect tachometer to engine. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Disconnect throttle position switch connector. Connect ohmmeter between throttle position switch connector and ground.
- Slowly raise engine speed. Check throttle position switch setting speed when ohmmeter shows continuity. Setting speed should be 1600-2000 RPM. Adjust setting speed using throttle position switch adjusting screw.
