Function Display Switch
- If display does not work correctly, disconnect telltale assembly connector from instrument cluster. Locate wire terminal of the function that does not operate properly. Measure resistance between that terminal and terminal B1, with the switch being tested in the "OFF" position. If resistance is infinite ohms, go to step 2). If resistance is zero ohms, replace the faulty switch or entire telltale assembly.
- With ohmmeter still connected between the suspect switch terminal, and terminal B1. Hold the suspect switch in position to select the desired function. If resistance is infinite ohms, replace the faulty switch or entire telltale assembly. If resistance is zero ohms, replace instrument cluster.
