System Testing

  1. Check system with engine cold. Ensure coolant temperature is below 122°F (50°C). Remove air cleaner cover. Start engine. Pinch AAP hose and stop engine. Release hose. Check that gasoline flows from acceleration nozzle.
  2. Repeat step 1) after engine warms up. Check that gasoline does not flow from the acceleration nozzle. Reinstall air cleaner cover. If no problem is found, system is operating properly.
