System Testing

  1. Check system when coolant temperature is below 122°F (50°C). Remove air cleaner cover. Start engine. Pinch AAP hose and stop engine. Release hose. Check that gasoline flows from acceleration nozzle.
  2. Repeat step 1) with engine warm. Check that gasoline does not flow from acceleration nozzle. Reinstall air cleaner cover. If no problem is found, system is operating properly.
