Clearing DTCS

  1. To clear codes, ground terminal G of Assembly Line Diagnostic Link (ALDL) connector. See Figure .
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position, with engine off.
  3. Press TRIP/ODO button on DIC until "1.7" displays on trip monitor.
  4. Press ENG/MET (next value) button and hold until "--" is displayed on speedometer. CCM DTCs should now be cleared.
  5. Turn ignition OFF and back ON to check if DTCs reset. Remove ground from ALDL connector.
