Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation

  1. Install NEW hub and bearing seal from wheel side of steering knuckle. Install NEW "O" ring onto hub and bearing assembly. Lubricate hub and bearing assembly seal and "O" ring with grease. Install NEW wheel speed sensor onto hub and bearing assembly.
  2. Install hub and bearing assembly into steering knuckle. Torque hub and bearing assembly bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Install brake rotor. Install brake caliper. Torque brake caliper bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  3. Install drive axle nut and washer. Insert a drift punch through brake caliper into brake rotor vents. Torque drive axle nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Remove drift punch. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
